SOURCING EXECUTIVE

Our client an International Giant requires an experienced Sourcing Executive (Clothing, Footwear and Homeware) to add value and join their dynamic group

The Sourcing Executive will be responsible for establishing and leading an African sourcing office for the Group. The aim will be to develop new sourcing opportunities for Clothing, Footwear, Homeware and General Merchandise in South Africa and Africa, for the independent business units. The new sourcing office will mirror the operations of the already well-established (independent) China sourcing office. The incumbent will be responsible for improving service delivery and unlocking value in the existing local supply base through driving Group scale, synergies and process improvement projects. The successful candidate should have access to a wide network of suppliers in SA and Africa and a strong knowledge of the local market. Knowledge of international sourcing will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic development
Develop, agree and implement a local and African sourcing strategy for the Group
Establish and grow a sourcing office responsible for local (SA) and African sourcing for Group businesses
Perform market analysis and complete data gathering to develop/ support procurement decisions and strategies
Analyse significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies and procedures
Develop processes, templates, and set performance metrics for sourcing engagements
Develop, implement and manage a strategy around BEE and local Supplier development including programs supported by Government

Leadership
Build, organize and lead a sourcing team to effectively engage with buyers and suppliers to deliver the required outcomes.
Assume full responsibility for performance, striving for excellence with a desire to be part of a team

Stakeholder Management (internal and external)
Gain an in-depth understanding of the business requirements and design sourcing strategies and actions to service those business requirements
Act as a sourcing agent on behalf of businesses in the group
Negotiate collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders for favourable business and commercial terms on a Group wide basis.
Assist business partners as they manage on-going supplier relationships
Develop, maintain and influence collaborative relationships with Senior Execs
Work with internal subject matter experts (e.g., Legal, Tax, etc.) to create contract structures which maximize the Groups return for current and long-term supplier relationships.
Drive increased value through direct negotiations and other sourcing methods with new and existing suppliers.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant tertiary qualification
7+ years’ experience in direct Sourcing, Procurement and/or Contract Management
Comprehensive knowledge of contract negotiation and sourcing methodologies
Advanced understanding of finance, supply chain, sourcing, and or procurement
Experience in complex contract negotiations, including varied pricing structures, cost plus methodologies and tiered rate cards
Ability to apply business and management principles involved in strategic sourcing
Ability to develop, cultivate and maintain complex working relationships
Clear understanding of principles and strategies for managing large-scale, complex projects using business logic
Ability to anticipate obstacles, challenges, and conduct root cause analysis
Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast paced complex changing environment
Communicate information in a clear, well-organized and professional manner
Ability to engage & influence at Senior Exec level
Willingness to travel

Finance Director – Cape Town

Site Project Engineer - JHB
Responsible for site projects. Relevant qualification, overseeing commissioning and installation. Project management. Pref with a GCC.

Supply Chain Manager – CPT
Must have a relevant B Engineering Degree, able to drive continuous improvement and manage risk, budgets and network optimisation. Min. 8 years exp together with strategic and operational experience

Temp Fitter X 2 - CPT
Large international company. Must be trade tested and worked on high speed machinery, cnc experience and Mig welding experience

Temp Engineering Storeman - CPT
Experience together with SAP experience

Temp Maintenance Planner - CPT
SAP experience together with inventory and stock control experience

Facilities Manager - CPT
Relevant degree or diploma in facilities or an engineering degree together with excellent leadership skills within the utilities sector. FMCG or manufacturing a must.

Utilities Millwright - CPT
Trade test Millwright required in the utilities sector of a large FMCG company. Pref. an engineering degree or diploma as well and experience on boilers etc.

RETAIL SECTOR

Temp Talent Specialist - CPT
Assist with recruiting, researching and screening of candidates. Relevant qualification and good admin skills required

Planner - CPT
Develop and implement planning processes, systems and lead technical design of processes and systems for all related planning functions

Training Manager - CPT
Training Manager required for large organisation, must have at least 5 years’ experience in training and dealing with stores

Buying Manager - CPT
Extensive buying management experience, dealing with various portfolios. Must have excellent leadership skills

Business System Analyst - CPT
Provide support to the merchandise team with regards to reporting and data analysing as well as interpretating data. Commercial degree together with good business objects knowledge.

Business Analyst - CPT
Analytical, process and excel expert, SQL and IT background an advantage
Expo in a similar role, preferably cellular experience

OFFICE SUPPORT

Personal Assistant to General Manager
This position requires a hands on, organised person to organise travel arrangements, diaries, and Board meetings, ensure all correspondence is correct and organised as well as prepare presentation packs. Experience in marketing essential as well as Good MS Office skills and a marketing Diploma preferably

Senior Software Engineer
Responsible for embedded and test software development for test jigs and broader test infrastructure. 7 years exp. essential , NON negotiable programs required C/C++, Real-time Operating Systems, managing hardware peripherals and Interrupt Service Routines. Embedded software development tools, Scripting Languages, (e.g. Python)
PC software development tools (e.g. Visual Studio, Java, and Delphi)

Basic TCP/IP, networking, communication protocols
